Fall is by far my favorite time of year. The air gets crisper, the days get shorter, the sun gets deeper. Leaves crunch beneath your feet and I find myself strapping on boots and bundling up in sweaters. It has been an insanely busy summer this year, but this session brought me down easy. Mustard & herringbone accents, milk glass, a sunset-lit cornfield, drool-worthy desserts & a custom wedding gown are just a few of the stunning details that helped bring this styled shoot at Craven Farm together. Dani of Weddings by Dani pulled together an amazing team of wedding industry pros like hair & makeup artist Yessie Libby, Tallant House cakes & Unique and Chic Event Rentals to create the perfect autumn setting. The gown from Cicada Bridal was finished just hours before we started shooting and featured intricate silk flowers on delicate overlay with a hint of blush pink. One of my favorite details of the day was the navy watercolor paper by NG Calligraphy. It popped perfectly against the scarlet wine glasses and bundles of wheat. Billy Balls & eucalyptus provided the perfect touch of whimsy to the table & the sun sunk over the cornfield just as we were wrapping up.
