Jessie’s sister began her toast with a powerpoint presentation. Her first slide stated the statistics for success on various dating sites: Match.com, eHarmony, and finally, what she humbly called “KwanMatchMaking”, which topped the charts with a 100% success rate. This was her sister’s second successful match-up, and everyone agreed that Jessie & Albert were the perfect pair.
The couple began their wedding celebration at Laurel Creek Manor with a traditional tea ceremony where Jessie and Albert offered tea to their elders and special family members. Jessie wore a stunning red dress which she later swapped for a flowing Vatana Watters gown. The day was expertly coordinated by Stephanie of Lilac and Lace, complete with lovely decor & whimsical florals designed by one of Jessie’s friends. I loved the fun heart sunnies the bridesmaids rocked & Jessie’s sweet nieces and nephews. My favorite detail of the day was the ceremony decor which featured calligraphy quotes from Corinthians, “Love is Patient”, “Love Always Protects” hanging in the isles & simple mason jar vases of baby’s breath above the alter area. Jessie and Albert also chose to to wash each other’s feet during the ceremony which was intimate and humbling.
The party rocked on into the evening & everyone danced the night away under the bistro lights. They even had Molly Moon’s ice cream which I was devastated to have been too busy to eat! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Ng! Your day was perfect & I’m wishing you many many happy years together! Cheers!
