It was the perfect June day for Jackie & Bryan‘s wedding at Maroni Meadows in Snohomish, Washington. Handmade dreamcatchers hung from the trees, cheery buds in oranges and pinks decorated the ceremony space, the dessert bar was filled with vibrant candies and delicious cake pops (photographer tested and approved!). Jackie anxiously hemmed & hawed over wearing a single string of pearls moments before their first look. Ultimately deciding against the necklace, she walked slowly towards her expecting groom. She tapped his left shoulder and they embraced, doing their best to stave off happy tears. Jackie & Bryan exchanged and read letters they had written to each other, reveling in these quiet moments alone before the festivities of the day kicked into high gear. A flurry of bridal party portraits was followed by a sweet ceremony under the island pavilion. Surrounded by family, friends and all of the luscious shades of green only the Pacific Northwest can offer, Jackie & Bryan became husband and wife! Touching toasts, a dreamy sunset and dancing under the twinkle lights – If Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett wasn’t written to make sappy photographers like me gush during the first dance, I don’t know what it’s for! Congratulations Jackie & Bryan – I am so glad I got to capture your celebration!
