To recap weddings from the past year, I selected images purely on feeling. The feelings captured in the photos, my feelings while I was taking them. 2018 was such a beautiful year – filled with giddy in love couples. Seriously, these cuties have some BIG ear to ear smiles! Many happy tears were shed (on both sides of the camera!). I traveled from Roche Harbor to Pittsburgh to Port Gamble. To the lavender fields in Woodinville, the majestic mountains in Snoqualmie and the sweeping ocean views of Camano Island. From the vibrant colors of a Hindu ceremony to the twinkling lights of the city skyline.
Another element I loved incorporating in 2018 was movement. So many of my favorite portraits are of brides, grooms & wedding parties walking, dancing *running*! We always find a way to have FUN together! I hope you enjoy looking back on 2018 as much as I do. I can’t thank my wonderful couples enough for trusting me to capture their celebrations. As a wedding photographer, married myself, I put a little marriage juju into each and every wedding I photograph. My deepest hope is for that love and joy to shine through these photos.
