Seattle Maternity Photographer: UW Cherry Blossoms

After a weekend filled with sunshine & a forecast with the same, it definitely feels like spring has finally arrived in the PNW! I was thinking last week how many wonderful maternity sessions I’ve had recently and connected the dots… pretty soon I’m going to have a lot of newborns in my calendar! I am kicking off wedding season this weekend, and it feels like the next few months are about to get REALLY busy. Kevin is also in his second to last quarter of grad school, so life in the Ruth household is chaotic to say the least!

I’m also gearing up to launch a new side/passion project in the next couple of months… but more on that soon!

Spring is for Maternity Sessions!

Kimi & Ben are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby in June. They braved the cool early morning hours to enjoy the cherry blossoms at UW and boy was it worth it! I love how Kimi’s pink maxi dress popped agains the delicate flowers and lush green grass. Maxi dresses are my go to suggestions for maternity session wear. They accent your bump so beautifully & help you feel extra feminine! I love how unique & special each maternity session is. There is so much anticipation and love in this season of life and it is such a treat to get to capture it.

Happy spring, friends!
