Wedding FAQ

Q: What is your style of photography?

A: My goal is to capture your unique love story with joyful, authentic, timeless images. I may have been called a “photography leprechaun” by one of my couples because I kept popping up at just the right time to photograph even the little in-between moments that make your day so special. My editing style is true to life, bright and cheerful. Q: What gear do you use?

A: I’m a Nikon girl! I shoot with a D4s, D700 & an assortment of prime & telephoto lenses. 

 

Q: Do you travel? 

A: Yes! While I am based in Seattle, I do travel for destination weddings & portrait sessions a few times a year. Photography has taken me all over the country and the world, from New Mexico, to Virginia, from France to Costa Rica! 

Q: We want to go somewhere cool for our engagement photos, are you down for that?

A: Consider “Adventure” my middle name! I love when couples want to make their sessions a true experience – from hiking in the North Cascades to exploring the bluffs of the Columbia River Gorge! 

 

Q: What’s included in your packages?

A: All wedding packages include an in-person or FaceTime consultation, an online portal including planning questionnaires, online payment options and digital contract, a 70+ page magazine detailing how to get the most out of your photography coverage, & lots of extra goodies that I love spoiling my couples with! 

Wedding packages begin with 4 hours of coverage and include your high resolution edited images in an online gallery as well as on a USB drive and printing rights. 

Add ons can include engagement sessions, additional hours of coverage, second photographers, album design & more!

 

Q: Will you help with our wedding day timeline?

Absolutely! I believe that a great timeline is extremely important to having a low-stress day that flows well – I have photographed hundreds of weddings & am happy to lend my expertise! 

 

Q: What’s the turn around time? 

A: Wedding galleries are delivered within 6-8 weeks, portrait sessions are delivered within 2-3 weeks. 

 

Q: How many photos will we get?

A: Number of photos depends on your length of coverage – it is typically around 75 images per hour. There is not a “cap” though, so however many it takes to tell the story of your day! 

Q: How far out do you book?

A: I typically book weddings between 9-12 months in advance, however, please still reach out if you’re outside that range!

 

Q: Do you shoot more than one wedding in a weekend?

A: Something I’ve prioritized for my couples & for myself  is only taking one wedding a weekend (Friday to Sunday). This ensures that my amazing couples get my devoted attention and energy, and gives myself a little grace during the busy summer months!

 

Q: Do you have vendors you prefer to work with?

A: I have had the pleasure of meeting & working with so many fabulous vendors in the wedding industry – I am happy to give recommendations on anything from wedding planners to hair and makeup artists!  You can see a few of my favorites here.
