UVA Graduation

Kevin & I are headed back to Charlottesville this weekend to celebrate his little sister, Erica’s, graduation from the University of Virginia! It is a bittersweet moment because (a) Erica is graduating college, which is crazy, and (b) she was a first year (that’s what we cavaliers call a “freshman”) when Kevin & I were fourth years, meaning we will no longer really know any undergrads at our alma mater. (Insert crying emoji face here) I had the joy of photographing the new members of my (and Erica’s!) sorority, Kappa Delta, each year during “Big Sis Week” so I wanted to post a little throwback to when these girls were fresh, wide-eyed first years in 2012. It has been an amazing journey watching them experience UVA – Erica is headed to her big-girl, grown-up job in DC after graduation, but I know we’ll all always have a home in Charlottesville. WAHOO WAH!
