Woodland Engagement Session at Snoqualmie Pass

Ali, Lindsay & I totally clicked when we met for the first time. We chatted for hours over a couple of beers not only about their wedding but about their hobbies, their relationship in general, and as cliche as it may sound, about life! I was so excited to not only have the opportunity to document their upcoming wedding, but also to know them as people and as friends. Ali & Lindsay were down for anything when it came to their engagement photos, so we decided to go on a little adventure together to Snoqualmie Pass. Since their wedding will be in the city, we wanted to capture their love of nature and also bring along their awesome pup, Emo! We made a day of it and they brought some champagne, and I brought Kevin & Lemon! We had such a blast walking around the Denny Creek campground which was so peaceful and quiet. Lemon dipped her feet in a creek for the first time and, despite their size difference, became friends with Emo. We even found a little patch of snow amongst the woods that bounced some gorgeous light on the gray day. Ali & Lindsay wanted to sport their college hoodies for a couple of the shots & we all fell in love with the wooden bridge we found at the end of the session. We stopped by the Issaquah Brew House on our way back to town, all of us a little dirty & tired but happy to have spent the afternoon in the great outdoors. I cannot wait for their wedding in September – thanks for exploring with me!
