Bellevue Family Session
I feel so lucky to have connected with Tamara through the wedding industry! I’d heard of her & her fabulous planning business – Simply by Tamara Nicole – but to be honest, I totally get star struck with some vendors here in Seattle! Her company has this effortless elegance that is equal parts polished perfection & sweet romance. The first time I met Tamara in person, though, she wrapped me up in a huge hug. She immediately made me feel like we were old friends. I can’t tell you how much that means to me! Tamara is as beautiful inside as she is out.
It’s funny feeling like you’re social media friends with someone’s 4 year old… But I was also weirdly excited about meeting Tamara’s kiddos in person. Weston was a total ham & kept trying to jump in front of the camera while I was photographing his little brother, Hudson, crawling around the nursery. I loved capturing their rambunctious energy! We played around the house and climbed into the hammock. Their rescue Westies reluctantly made an appearance in a few photos before we walked down to the beach by their house.
The gorgeous summer sun was bouncing off of Lake Washington & the beach was swarmed with teenagers and families enjoying the warm night. I loved capturing some priceless mommy baby moments between Tamara and Hudson. These are the images that bring my heart so much joy!
Always down for ice cream…
If you know me even a little bit, you’ll know I’m always down for some ice cream! When Tamara suggested we all have some cones in their backyard at the end of our shoot, I was so excited! Hudson LOVED the ice cream and quickly took over dad’s cone. A boy after my own heart! I indulged in one myself after I was done shooting, too – don’t you worry!
