Ballard Street Art Murals + Family = Fun
There are hardly words to describe 2020. The ones I've been using most recently, though, are "upside down" and "time warp", and to be honest... "dumpster fire". Ya feel me? The thing is though, photography has helped me stay present and grateful. Babies are still being born, families are still making memories. We are all doing our damn best.
I was really excited when Anna reached out to me about doing their family photos on Ballard Ave to capture the beautiful murals that covered the storefronts. What a way to capture this time. The murals are so bright and cheerful - such a stark contrast to the nearly empty streets. I am so used to seeing Ballard Ave full of life - Sunday farmers markets, and packed with bar-hoppers at night. I wanted to say a special thank you to the artists that created these works for us to enjoy during such a challenging time. And thank you to Anna and your family for exploring with me!
