Destination Wedding Photographer: Luxembourg Gardens, Paris, France

It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since I headed to Paris, France, with my bestie, Jen.  We had a week of exploration, photoshoots and inspiration! Jen & I flew this stunning Pedram Couture gown from Mea Marie Bridal in Kirkland all the way to Paris. We were only a little nervous about getting it through customs!! Our French model, Aurelie, couldn't have been a more perfect fit. Akiko of Floraison blew us away with the bouquet she created for us. The pastries came from a local bakery just blocks away from Luxembourg Gardens (and our fabulous AirBnB) where our shoot took place. We also brought some stunning paper goods from Seattle made by Krisanna Elizabeth that we had a blast styling with macaroons and silky ribbon. We were so inspired by the luxurious textures of the gown and the dusty roses of the bouquet. And how could you not be inspired by the beauty of Paris!?Jen and I are thrilled to have this Paris shoot featured in Hochzeisguide. Check it out here!: Hochzeitsguide Feature!

Narrow alleys, lined by historic buildings, lead us to the hidden Luxembourg Gardens, where we witness fascinating bridal inspirations with French Chic.We marvel at an avenue of tall trees, an ancient bridge under which softly swaying branches mirror in the water, and imperial stone sculptures reminiscent of a bygone era.All that appears magically in a golden light, as a pale beauty with dark red hair enters the spacious garden. Gracefully her hair glides down her shoulder aiming her bridal bouquet, as if an invisible bond connected them…This invisible bond seems to be an elegant reddish brown which, together with delicate shades of cream, harmoniously blends the details of this shoot by Meredith McKee.  For a long time she was dreaming about this project, she told us: "This shoot was an absolute dream featuring both American and French vendors."This breathtaking garden venue was not the only highlight, she added: We flew a stunning Pedram Couture gown from Mea Marie Bridal in Seattle all the way to Paris and we brought some stunning paper goods from Seattle made by Krisanna Elizabeth. Finally, we also bought pastry from a local bakery just blocks away from our venue.“Magical details, from sparkling jewelry to delicate silk ribbons and the vivid bridal bouquet, show the amazing grasp of Meredith McKee, who captured her perfected visions come true on equally glamorous pictures for us.
