Korean 100th Day Celebration: Seattle Baby Photographer

Embracing Tradition

One thing I really love about being a photographer is getting to experience so many different types of celebrations, from so many different cultures. Jae & Joe wanted me help them celebrate their daughter's 100th day - a tradition from their Korean heritage. They had set out a table with offerings & prayers for wealth and longevity. These were represented by salt, cakes and a beautifully twisted yarn. I loved the beautiful white color palette they had chosen for these elements and how they incorporated fresh flowers. It also coordinated with their clothing choices as well! Alice was such a sweetheart during our session and had the cutest giggle! Thank you for welcoming me into your home, Jae & Joe - it was such a pleasure meeting you and your baby girl, and getting to be a part of this milestone! Congratulations!See more in-home baby photography on the blog here!
