PNW Maternity Session: Seattle Maternity Photographer

Spring was FULL of maternity sessions and it is so exciting to start hearing of the arrival of some summer PNW babies! I have four newborn clients due in June and it is always fun to see when they stack up in arrival. It is almost never how you would anticipate! The unexpected arrival is one of the main reasons I suggest doing maternity photos in your 7th month. You never know when baby may decide to come early! This is such a special and transitional time that deserves to be captured!

PNW Beauty

I loved venturing out of the city to one of my favorite locations - Rattlesnake Lake - with Catherine & Richard for their maternity session. They are from San Diego, so they were hoping to find a location that highlighted the beauty of the PNW! I can't think of a better spot than Rattlesnake Lake for that. Catherine & Richard recently bought a home in West Seattle, so they are in full-on nesting mode anticipating the arrival of their baby bundle.

Don't be afraid to stand out!

Catherine's red dress was such a glamorous pop against the PNW greens. I love how dramatic it was! Maxi dresses always show off the bump beautifully. Catherine & Richard were troopers trudging through the mud, but I am so glad we lucked out with a beautiful misty morning. Congratulations you two - I can't wait to meet your baby girl soon!See one of my other favorite PNW maternity sessions at Rattlesnake Lake on the blog here!
