Sanders Estate Wedding: Sumi and Pat

Pat had been attending their church for a year when Sumi joined his small group. They saw each other and chatted casually for months before they finally went on their first date to the Woodland Park Zoo. Sumi and Pat have an easy chemistry. They giggle together and love exploring their city of Seattle. I am so glad I got to be a part of another Kim sister's journey (I photographed Sue & Alex's wedding last year) and capture all of the joy that bursts from this family!Sumi & Pat's wedding fell right in the peak of my season, but their careful attention to detail & stunning venue, Sanders Estate, slowed me way down. One of my favorite moments was being able to capture both Sumi & Pat reading the letters they had written to each other that morning. These were quiet, intimate moments that they were able to savor before the buzz of the day got rolling. Each element of their day was planned perfectly, except for the sporadic down-pouring rain! Miraculously, the rain held out for their gorgeous ceremony in front of the rose bushes & their reception under the twinkling lights. Accents of gold & white made their reception tent sparkle and gave their outdoor wedding an elegant air. Melissa & Blue Ribbon cooking helped the day go flawlessly and there was no shortage of epic dance moves. They ended the evening with a classic sparkler send off. Congratulations Sumi & Pat - I am so excited to see where your joyous marriage takes you!Venue: Sanders Estate, Auburn, WA //Catering, Coordination, Florals, Rentals & Cake: Blue Ribbon // Dress: New Beginnings Bridal //Hair & Make Up: Salon Maison // Ice Cream Truck: Parfait // Photobooth: Snap Bar // DJ: DJ Rowzroyce // Photography: Meredith McKee Photography
