Seattle Waterfront Engagement Session

These cuties are getting married in about 4 months so I thought it was about time I shared their adorable downtown Seattle engagement session! Kacey & Cole are both into theater & performing, so it's no surprise that that had each other, and me, in stitches during the entire shoot. The only thing that I dislike about taking their pictures is not being able to hear all of the witty commentary going on on the other end of the lens - Guys, it's really weird, it's like the camera provides imaginary ear muffs when I'm shooting. Needless to say, fun & spunky doesn't even begin to describe their personalities - I love that they are going against the grain for a lot of their wedding plans, read: a ceremony in the round followed by a brunch reception at Fremont Abbey. It's going to be one heck of a celebration and you better believe I'm going to eat my fare share of biscuits and gravy! The waterfront is also one of my favorite Seattle-y urban places to shoot - sweeping views of the Sound on one side and towering skyscrapers on the other - the options are endless! I know you two are enjoying prepping for the big day & I can't wait till it's here! xx
