Tulip Festival Engagement Session: Michelle & AJ

I was thrilled when Michelle & AJ asked me to come up to their hometown of Burlington, WA to take their engagement photos during the world-famous Skagit Valley Tulip Festival! I hadn't been to visit the tulips since I went with my mom two years ago, so I was excited to go exploring with some locals! Michelle & AJ expertly navigated the back roads avoiding gobs of traffic on the perfectly sunny spring day. We happened upon a more quiet field of tulips and delightedly tip-toed through the rows. This setting will be quite the contrast to their downtown Seattle wedding this fall!
