When I arrived in Jamie’s suite at the Pan Pacific, her jaw-dropping bouquet was the first thing to catch my eye. I knew this would be a statement piece for her as she has spent several years working with her mom as a florist. The rest of the florals for the day did not disappoint. I loved all of the hops included anywhere & everywhere, a nod to their love of beer, as well as the succulents, the ferns, and the orchids… oh the orchids! Jamie got her arm workout in carrying that piece of art, but she wouldn’t have had it any other way. Jamie slipped into her equally intricate dress – delicately beaded with miles of iridescent glimmering spheres. Two more orchids in her hair for good measure.
After multiple attempts at trying to find the perfect location for their first look, Jamie & Phil landed on this rooftop garden. It was the best combination of the feel for their day – wild yet urban. Everything was mixes of greenery and bronze, wood and metal. Nature & city.
We made a quick stop at Kerry park for some iconic bridal party shots with the stunningly sunny skyline.
Jamie & Phil stopped at no end creating the decor for their wedding day. They handmade practically everything, from the breathtaking hexagonal backdrop for the ceremony to the wooden beer tasting trays that served as their thank you gifts. In lieu of table numbers, each seating was marked with a particular kind of beer, noted on a sign that also described it’s flavor profile and AA percentage. The basic chemical structure of the components of hops (and beer) did not escape these science lovers… you guessed it… hexagons!
Their Cavalier King Charles, Alice, made an appearance as the ring bearer, and Jamie & Phil’s grandmothers stole the show as the flower girls!

The evening continued with lawn games on the patio as the sun dipped behind the Olympic mountains. 
One of my favorite details of their day was the mouth-watering dessert bar! Cupcakes, mini donuts & macaroons – yes please! Jamie even made the blackberry lemon pie bars herself!
An epic celebration for these two wouldn’t have been complete without a surprise appearance by a storm trooper! Phil defeated him for the garter toss. Jamie & Phil are big music lovers so their music selection & the spinning skills of Bamboo Beats was on point all day.
Congratulations, Jamie & Phil! Your day was absolutely stunning from start to finish & it couldn’t have been a better celebration of your love. I know you are having the most amazing time in FIJI right now & I am beyond jealous!! Cheers to you two – can’t wait to see you at a Sounders game soon!!
