I’m so excited to share this sweet wedding celebration with you this morning! Tara & Michael celebrated the first anniversary of their intimate Seattle elopement by throwing a fabulous party for their friends and family at Ray’s Boathouse! Tara and Michael reached out to me just a few weeks before their special day and I was thrilled to get to be a part of it. We started with their first look & portraits at the Olympic Sculpture Park where they got married one year earlier. It was a little rainy, but I loved the shots we got with the clear bubble umbrella, inside the welcome center, and outside on the covered patio! This is a great example of how rain can be embraced on your day! Tara’s beautiful tea length gown showed off her metallic flats – a girl after my own heart! Next we headed over to Ray’s for their absolutely delicious 4 course dinner, toasts and dancing. Guests enjoyed an equally scrumptious cake by Honey Crumb Cake Studio that was simply stunning! “We found Meredith through a referral from another friend’s wedding photographer. We met Meredith for the first time just under three weeks before our wedding event. Meredith was able to condense the usual meetings, three questionnaires, and other bits of coordination that she typically does months ahead of the event into the three weeks we had available. The way she answered our questions and the information she gathered from us in such a short timeframe relieved all of the stress we had when we found ourselves in need of a photographer within a time frame we originally weren’t even sure would be possible.
