Greetings from Vietnam!! Kevin and I have been having an amazing time here in Ho Chi Minh City. From touring the Mekong River Delta, to feasting on banh mi & pho, every minute has felt like an adventure! Kevin is working in the office this week so I have been filling my time with strolls around the Ben Thanh market, a contemporary art gallery tour, and a little work – like this fun family photography session!
I am so excited to share little miss Hadley’s one-year photo session with you. Jenn has become such a dear friend over the last couple of years & I have absolutely loved watching her little one grow. We had a perfect evening at Discovery Park & caught a beautiful sunset at Golden Gardens.
Choosing a family photography location
Discovery Park & Golden Gardens are two of my favorite places to shoot. Not just because they are near where I live, but because their is such great variety and natural beauty. It’s hard to find better views of the Sound and the Olympic Mountains, in addition to beaches and forests. The sweeping grass fields at Discovery Park always inspire me. They have such beautiful organic movement and turn completely golden at sunset. Evenings at Golden Gardens can include boats sailing by to dock at the marina, and a dipping your toes in the chilly water. Heaven.
