Welcome to the world, baby Gabriel! I loved getting to spend the afternoon with this sweet family at their beautiful home in Bellevue! Gabriel’s “big” sister, Lucy, was very concerned about my presence, but I quickly won her over when she realized I had treats for her! I loved the simplicity of the color palette for this session – pastels and light neutrals allow the delicate baby features to shine! Not to mention the adorable outfit Gabriel is wearing was a gift that a friend brought back from Paris! Swoon!
Clients are often concerned about having their whole house tidied up for an in-home newborn session – but all of the photos in this post were taken in just one room!! The most important thing for me is good natural light and I can guide you in a wide variety of poses that will deliver a beautiful, varied, cohesive gallery!
I also love that the majority of my family and newborn sessions include dogs – Did you know that dogs outnumber babies in Seattle?! Kevin & I are total dog parents so it makes sense to me include your first baby in these sessions! Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see a little outtake featuring this feisty pup!

Lucy was VERY treat motivated… so in retrospect this shouldn’t have surprised us as much as it did hahah!! Here’s a little out-take of Lucy hurdling Gabriel to get to the treats I was holding!! Don’t worry – Gabriel was just surprised!
