Color, texture & rainbows
This newborn session is every bit as joyful as I knew it would be! I loved the colors, textures and rainbow accents for this rainbow baby. Kim & Chas take so much pride in the home they’ve built together and it shows. Kim has an amazing eye for design. Everything feels unique, yet exactly where it should be! Something I think about a lot when it comes to decorating a nursery room is that it’s really what you, the parent, would enjoy. You’ll be spending a good amount of time in there feeding and changing, and the decor should absolutely be something that you like seeing, too! I love that nurseries these days don’t have to be super cheesy – consider your own style, first, and then add all of the sweet baby touches you want your little one to grow up with!
Some of my favorite nursery room inspiration comes from Land of Nod (Crate&Kids) and Gathre play mats! As much as I love a beautiful, neutral color pallet for any room (especially the nursery!) I think it’s important to have a little fun, too! Where did you find inspiration for your nursery? Did you stick with soft muted tones, or add in pops of color?
