Wow – if anything can help me realized how much time is flying during quarantine, it’s seeing how big this baby boy has gotten over the last 5 months! Mama, Betty, is a dear friend (and awesome photographer) and I am so grateful for the friendship I have built with this family. It is especially magical to see these two boys grow.
One of the most precious moments during this session was when mommy, daddy and big brother all had their hands on baby. Daddy explained to Wilder that they were praying for Emery, that he would grow up big and strong, and that they would go on many adventures together.
Daddy (Matt) also said while he was buttoning up Wilder’s shirt, that he would one day look back on these photos and get to remember the day he became a big brother. Matt bringing on the tears, man!
I love getting to capture the energy of older siblings during newborn sessions – just a little peek into what real life with multiple kiddos is all about! Thank you for having me document your beautiful family (again!) xoxo
