OUR TRAVELS

Kevin & I love to travel and our wanderlust has taken us all over the world. The guest book at our wedding was a poster size world map which we have marked all of our adventures on next to the signatures of our closest friends and family. Our list of places we want to go is exceedingly long, but what can I say, that travel itch is a hard one to scratch! Below you’ll find just a few photos from some of our adventures – what’s next on our travel list? We’re so excited to head to New Orleans to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary in April & to photograph a wedding in Costa Rica this fall!

TRAVEL FUN FACT // Kevin’s dad is in the Navy so he grew up living all over the world (my dad retired from the Navy when I was 8 so I missed the bulk of the moving but still had my fair share!) When we started dating, Kevin’s parents and little sister were living in Italy so after just 6 months of dating, I flew clear across the Atlantic to meet his family for the first time. We had horrible luck with our luggage getting lost, flight delays & cancellations. I had packed my luggage so carefully, including all of my favorite meeting-the-parents-appropriate outfits so needless to say, I was pretty bummed that I was without my bag for the entire trip. How can I complain though, right? This ended up being an instant bonding experience for Kevin’s little sister, Erica, and me, whom I had to borrow clothes, toiletries, etc. from, and inadvertently showed Kevin’s parents that I was able to roll with the punches. I also learned to snowboard for the first time on this trip (figured I’d just get it all over with at once, right?) and bonded with the entire Ruth clan. I am so thankful I have such amazing in-laws!
