Happy Monday, everyone! I am so excited to share the second set of family sessions I did while I was in Paris! It’s hard to believe I’ve only been back for two weeks – it already feels like a lifetime ago. I couldn’t visit this magical city without getting some photos in at the iconic Eiffel Tower, so these two families were gracious enough to hang out with me for a bit there! It was a magnificently beautiful day & I spent a little time in between shoots lounging on the grass soaking in some Vitamin D. I had so much fun with these two families – The two older girls in the first set of images were so sweet and gave me huge hugs when they met me – they were total balls of energy & loved spinning, twirling, jumping and running. I loved capturing their movement with the bonus of an epic backdrop behind them.
This little one didn’t care too much for having her picture taken, but after some playtime on the playground & a snack, she was all giggles! The sun was beginning to set beautifully to the west of the Eiffel tower & I loved the glow that came through the manicured trees. These moments were all I needed to fall in love with this stunning city! Next time I’m in Paris (wink, wink) I would love to get to do a sunrise session from the opposite end of the Eiffel Tower at Trocadero Gardens – seeing the sun come up behind the Eiffel Tower is breathtaking!! It is fun to compare the Eiffel Tower to Seattle’s Space Needle as they were both built for hosting the World’s Fair. I love how artists get to design these unique & creative structures for historical moments that now define the skyline & are so iconic to their cities.
