Seattle Family Beach Session
This sweet family holds such a dear spot in my heart! Nearly 5 years ago, Kevin and I met Wonder and Marc on an Underdog dodgeball team. Yep. You read that right. Despite the negatives of getting pegged in the face every few minutes… I am about a foot shorter than all of the guys that were throwing the balls as hard as they could… We made some truly wonderful friends on that team! Wonder & Marc were engaged at the time just like us, and then ended up moving into our same apartment building – just two doors down! We bonded over our love of food, the great outdoors, and our pups.
Much to my dismay, they moved back to Michigan a couple of years ago to be near Marc’s family. Before they left the Pacific Northwest, we hiked up Rattlesnake Ledge for a session with their dog, Leo. These are still some of my favorite shots – capturing these adventurous souls on top of the cloud blanketed mountains.
They recently came back for a visit with a different baby in tow for their session – their 15 month old daughter, Reagan! I was thrilled to finally meet this little angel in person and loved exploring the fields of Discovery Park with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a morning than with dear friends, soaking up the beauty of the PNW. Please come back again soon!!! xoxo
