What a JOY to get to photograph this family before baby #2 arrives! Oddly enough I met Alexis via Instagram when launching Om Mama Co. to pick her brain on all mama things (this lady is such a connector + has serious gold star taste!). She became one of our very first members and such a treasured friend in the process. I am so lucky that they live just a couple of blocks away from us, too!
This session is full of so many things I love and really turned out to be such a creatively inspired gallery. We played in their yard and strolled the alley. They had recently renovated their kitchen and playing in the sink / prepping pizza are some of my favorite shots! I also loved experimenting with their beautiful front window. I love how it feels like a (well dressed + put together) typical early evening for them!
