Snowy Engagement Session at Snoqualmie Pass
Valentine's day is just around the corner so I'm sharing one of my favorite engagement sessions to date this morning! Kat, Ryan & I met up at the Snoqualmie Pass ski resort - We don't get much snow in Seattle, but it is fun to be able to drive just an hour to get to a winter wonderland! Several roads around the area were actually closed due to the conditions so we had to get a little creative when it came to photo locations. We dodged ticket-giving rangers & had to do some serious sneaking to get this amazing lake view - but man was it worth it! We ended up in waist high snow drifts (cue truly authentic laughter and smiles!) and we all ended up dumping snow out of our boots by the end of the session. I am so thankful for having adventurous clients that allow me to capture their joyful love in such beautiful scenery! #pacnw for the win, guys.Kevin and I are headed to Kanaskat-Palmer Park for Valentine's Day and staying in a YURT. Can I tell you how excited I am to finally stay in a yurt!? This has been a glamping dream of mine for a while now & I cannot wait to get out in the wilderness with Kevin, Lemon, and Chip - my in-law's dog we're babysitting for the week! Be sure to follow along on Instagram at @meredithmckee for photos from our adventure! (There will most likely be some adorable shots of Lemon & Chip!)
Are you or someone you know planning on tying the knot?! We still have a few select dates available for 2016 so let's grab a drink & chat about your big day! I can't wait to hear from you! xx
