This was an extremely special maternity session to get to photograph! These lovely people were actually the previous owners of our house and I was so thrilled when they reached out to me about capturing this exciting time for their family!
It’s typical in the home-buying process in Seattle to write a letter to the homeowners about yourselves and what you love about the house, neighborhood, etc. I had included in our letter that I was a family photographer and loved doing sessions down the hill at Golden Gardens. Janelle + Semere we expecting their second baby and thought it was a perfect fit!
This was the first time I had met them, a couple months after we had moved into our home. I was honestly a bit nervous, but they were so kind and we had so much fun during their session. Jaden is the cutest and is going to be such a sweet big brother!
I’ve mentioned before that there were a ton of little signs that lead us to buying this house, and Janelle, Semere and their two little ones are a piece of that puzzle. Congratulations you all – thank you so much for these special memories!
