Spring is the perfect time to get outside and capture memories with your family, and what better way to do it than to schedule a fun, family lifestyle session? I have tons of ideas to share with you to make your session a memorable and enjoyable experience:
Cherry Blossoms
Spring is the perfect time to capture the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom. Seattle has cherry blossoms in multiple locations across the city. Notable are the Arboretum, UW, and Seward Park.
Picnic in the Park
Spring is the perfect time to have a picnic in the park. Capture your family enjoying the outdoors and each other’s company while surrounded by the beautiful scenery of a park. I recommend choosing a park in your neighborhood where your children are familiar with the surroundings and will be at their most relaxed.
Flower Fields
Spring is the time when many flower fields are in bloom. These are not in Seattle per se, but Washington boasts beautiful fields if we want to make the trek. Notable are the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, Van Lierop Park in Puyallup, and Mount Rainier National Park. Here are some more ideas.
Outdoor Adventure
Spring is a great time to explore the outdoors. Schedule a family photoshoot doing whatever adventure activity your family enjoys. We can take a ferry to Bainbridge Island, or wander through the trails of Mount Rainier.
Farmer’s Market
Spring is when many farmer’s markets start up again. Pike Place Market is always a fun experience to capture your family interacting with the vendors and enjoying fresh flowers and produce. Ballard Farmer’s Market is my all time favorite, and the Fremont + Wallingford farmer’s markets are great, too!
Beach Day
Spring is when the weather starts to warm up, making it a great time to hit the beach. Schedule a family photoshoot at the beach, capturing your family enjoying the sand and waves. See one of my fave beaches, Golden Gardens.
