I was so excited when Kassie & Eric suggested doing part of their engagement session in their home! I do in home newborn sessions a lot, so I was excited to put a new twist on one of my favorite types of locations. One of the reasons Kassie and Eric wanted to do their shoot at the apartment was so they could include the new additions to their little family – their adorable cats! I did their session the day after I launched my new website & Kassie jokingly commented – You’ve been doing all of these sessions with these beautiful families & babies – these are our babies! I was like, YES! Furbabies totally count! I mean, have you seen how much I love on #lemonruth?! I loved all of the bright whites in their Queen Anne apartment & the fun pop of colorful tulips on the kitchen table (which the kittens enjoyed nibbling on). Kassie & Eric met at UW and are football season ticket holders, so it made sense to head over to campus for the second part of their shoot. I loved hearing them chat about meeting at a tailgate, attending classes together, and falling in love – these two have such sweet, fun loving souls & I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding day this fall!
