I am slowly (but surely) chipping away at editing all of the AMAZING photoshoots we had in Paris! I had the pleasure of photographing not one, but FOUR families while we were in France and it was truly a life changing experience. I’ve talked a lot about this over on Instagram (@meredithmckee) so be sure to check out my posts there! Also, a reminder that I am offering “Mommy & Me Minis” on Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 14th at my new studio in Ballard – I have a couple of spots left so email me at meredith@meredithmckee.com to snag yours! Fun, 15 minute sessions with digital files for $150!
My first set of family sessions took place at the gorgeous Luxembourg Gardens – conveniently located at the end of the street we were staying on! The first family I photographed spoke little English, but I learned that smiles are universal. I loved how their little 3 year old girl kept commenting on my blue hair! I brought bubbles to share with the kiddos & that was a huge hit!
Every inch of the park was beautiful & inspiring!! I loved this shady nook of parallel lines!
“Piggy back” proved to be the most difficult pose suggestion to communicate! I love how it turned out though!
The second family used their session to announce the gender of their second baby – it’s a girl! We had so much fun with balloons, confetti & other props they brought along. The light was absolutely gorgeous as it began to dip behind the trees of Luxembourg Gardens and I couldn’t get enough of the grand, manicured landscaping. These rows of trees were my absolute favorite!
Is Lucca not the absolute cutest?! He’s gonna be a great big brother!!
We totally got scolded for being on the grass shortly after we took these photos – apparently all grass is off limits at Luxembourg (and most gardens we visited) – no wonder they are able to keep it so perfect-looking!! I think it was worth a little reprimand ; )
Renata & Angeline – Thank you SO much for allowing me to photograph you & your beautiful families while I was in Paris! It was such a pleasure to meet you all – wishing you the very best! Merci beaucoup!!
The second set of family photos I took were at the Eiffel Tower … stay tuned to see those next week! It was an absolute dream!!
