I was so thrilled when I found out I would get to go to ALASKA to photograph Rachel & Jake’s wedding! Right when we arrived, Rachel & Jake welcomed me as part of their family. I attended their ceremony rehearsal & Kevin even joined us for dinner and beers afterwards. The morning of their wedding I walked just 2 doors down to hang out with Rachel while she got ready. Jake actually runs the hotel we were staying in, the Stikine Inn, and even managed the catering for the wedding!
Their ceremony took place at the oldest church in all of Alaska. That amazing kind of history is what makes a beautiful foundation for a marriage! That and their adorable two-year-old daughter Ayla. So many sweet moments with her throughout the day!
I am so thankful I got to be a part of this special day – congratulations Rachel & Jake! Wishing you many many happy years – Can’t wait to come visit Wrangell again in the summertime! Thank you so much for being so kind to us during our whole visit and welcoming us into your town!
