I love doing newborn sessions at home because I feel like it is the best way to capture this crazy unique time in your family. Where you lived, what this time looked like – these are all important aspects of telling the story of bringing your baby home! Older siblings are comfortable in their own space, you don’t have to get organized & get everyone out of the house, and we get to cuddle up on your bed, where you likely spend hours of your day with your kids anyway. Getting to capture that space is so special! I loved getting to hang out with this sweet family of four in their home last week, welcoming baby Sylvie into the world! Her older brother Sam was a ball of energy & enthusiastically told me knock-knock jokes (that didn’t entirely make sense!). Congratulations you guys – you’re in for a fun & wild ride with these two! xx
I loved how the colors of their bedding went with their outfits! Mixing patterns in the same color family is a great idea for planning outfits & the look of your session!
